In-home Sessions are truly some of my favorite things to photograph. They allow the entire family to feel completely comfortable in their own environment, which makes it that much easier to capture those truly “Pinterest worthy” newborn photos. Lifestyle newborn photography is all about letting those beautiful moments unfold, but by adding in a few prompts to our session we are able to capture all those magical newborn details. Lets face it, Moms rarely get the spotlight in photos once the baby arrives but TRUST me you are going to want those snuggly images with your sweet little one. Find a cozy spot in your home and just soak in your new little one and the magic will create itself.

One day, its going to be hard to remember how tiny your baby ACTUALLY was, this is why in every newborn session, whether in-home newborn session or a studio newborn session I make time to capture those special details. (Think fingers, toes, and that precious little nose.)

#3 Bring in Fur-friends
I love incorporating fluffy friends into your in-home newborn session. If your pet is normally in the house, leave them in! Having them in the background and making appearances will bring a sweet surprise factory into your newborn session.
#4 Dad Snuggles
Whether they are a first time dad or a sixth time dad, there’s something so sweet about seeing a tiny baby in your mans arms..Am I right?! Nothing cuter. So don’t forget to get some of those Baby daddy moments.
#5 Sibling Love
These are the ones that the grandparents will lose their mind over the most. Get them snuggled close together, or have your little ones help hold their new baby brother or sister. Don’t forget to let them give all the kisses.
